Official Greek Weekend at Texas A&M University
Since 1973, more than 20,000 students have taken part in the fraternity and sorority experience and on October 25 and 26, 2013, generations will come together to network and celebrate the positive impact that Greek life has on campus!
Sponsored by The Association of Former Students, the Greek Former Students Network and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Texas A&M University, the weekend celebrates Aggie Greek pride and the great things our fraternities and sororities do throughout the course of the year.
Mark your calendars to join your chapter, current and former students alike, as we B.T.H.O. Vanderbilt and celebrate Aggie Greek accomplishments over the past year!
Aggie Greek Awards Banquet
The fraternity and sorority awards are designed to recognize outstanding Greek chapters as well as their student leaders, advisors, and former students. The awards celebrate the accomplishments of our organizations and community in an effort to display the importance of aligning each individual chapter’s values with those of Texas A&M University and to promote the positive benefits of Greek membership.
Chapter Expectations for Aggie Greek Weekend
Aggie Greek Weekend is an opportunity for current and former students from each chapter to gather, network and promote the positive things our Greek system is doing in and around our community. We encourage all chapters to join us in making this year's Aggie Greek Weekend the best one yet.
It is vital that the leadership from each chapter read the Chapter Planning Packet and work closely with our planning committee to ensure we have 100% participation from each fraternity and sorority on campus.
The AGW planning committee is here to answer any questions that your chapter may have about this weekend and to help promote your reunion, tailgating event or open house to your former students.
Thank you for all your time and effort as we plan for a great weekend, and we hope that your organization’s involvement will be valuable to your chapter. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Katy Pounds-Lee ’08 by phone at 979-845-7514,
