Since Marco Island is a resort destination, one needs to want to come to Marco Island for more than one reason because it is a long drive to even get to Naples.  There are only three AGGIES on the island.  That is why a club has never been a priority.  The nearest club is in Miami 145 miles East.

This year to encourage Aggies to come down since Muster is on the weekend, I have made arrangements with the Marco Island Lakeside Inn to offer an Aggie Muster package.  This was how my daughter, Courtney (Heinrich) Holland '91 her husband and my two grand children shared Muster with us last year.

Nancy Richie'87 Environmental Specialist for Marco Island has agreed to put on a program if there are enough people.

However, I am working on the possibility of a major event, for me.  A leader in this community was in the same Ranger company as James Earl Rudder when they helped make Normandy possible.  Rudder was President of A&M when I graduated and his son lived one floor above me.  I would like to have him share some of those experiences but age may be a problem.

At this time events can go in many directions.
