MUSTER IS SATURDAY, APRIL 21
The March 1923 Texas Aggie urged, “If there is an
A&M man in one-hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat
a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas.” Of
course, the other purpose of Muster is remembering those we have lost in the
past year.
Continuing a tradition
that began in 1974, Dick Piner’s (class of ’50) estate will be the site of the
2018 Aggie Muster sponsored by the New Orleans A&M Club. The Piners’
address is 4401 Patterson Drive (River Road) in Algiers. Parking is not permitted
along the levee. If parking is not available in the Piners’ driveway, please
park on the nearest side street.
We will start the
social hour at 3:30, but you may arrive a little earlier to enjoy the Piners’
beautiful gardens. This will give you an opportunity to spend some time with
old classmates and make new friends. Dinner will start at 5:00 with the
business meeting starting at approximately 6:00 PM followed by the Muster ceremony.
The cost for the meal
is $25/adult or $15/student. Children, 12 and under, are free. Plenty of cold
drinks will be on hand.
