úThe first Silver Taps ceremony for the new school year at Texas A&M University will be held tonight (Sept. 6).
Chimes from Albritton Bell Tower will play as Aggies will gather in the plaza area in front of the Academic Building. Campus will be darkened and, at at at 10:30 p.m., the silence will be split by the slow echoing cadence of the Ross Volunteers.
Following the firing of three volleys, Silver Taps will be played by six buglers three times--to the north, west and south--all to honor the lives and memory of:
